SOLD - This is an antique presentation Bowie knife - an Arkansas toothpick double edged, dagger style. This is a very well made, beautiful knife. It is believed to have been an award for a Confederate soldiers reunion, or possible special gift for a veteran. The blade measures 11" from the guard to the tip. OAL is 15 1/2". The knife has not been cleaned or sharpened. The blade is etched with a floral pattern on one side, and CS and a Confederate flag on the other. The antique ivory handle is capped with a seated Liberty half dollar. On my scale this knife weighs just over 1 LB - almost 17 oz. I don't know the maker of the knife.
