J.C.Higgins 583-1101- Bolt Action - 16 Ga. Shotgun - Smooth walnut pistol grip style stock and forend with butt plate. 26 In. long Mod. choke barrel with front bead sight. 2 round internal magazine . Capacity 2 +1 x 16 Ga. x 2.75. Thumb safety. Bore is clean and bright . Barrel and magazine are retaining 100 % bluing. Stock and forend are in like new condition with no handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is like new . This shotgun is in pristine condition with very little use. Built by High Standard for J.C. Higgins and sold by Sears. These once popular shotguns have become scarce to find in this condition. Collector quality.
