I'd call this one very good in all aspects, antique, original and unaltered. And the bore is bright and strong with just a few hints of corrosion. It has 6 bright, shiny lands and grooves. Seriously. I'd bet I could take this one home, work on the bore a little bit with brush, patches and solvent, and come out with a minty bore. E.A.W. inspectors stamp on the left side of the barrel at the rec'r. Inspectors cartouche also visible on the left side of the stock just behind and above the saddle ring rail. Hard to see, but it's there. This is a real, Civil war production and issued New Model 1863 carbine in original condition, really fairly priced. See the pics. $75 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
