NICE '68-69 Pre-Garcia SAKO L579 Forrester Varmint in 22-250 Rem. Bofors Steel 23.5" heavy barrel with excellent bore. Original blueing is excellent with a little loss on muzzle edge and a few very fine marks on barrel. I would rate 97-98%. Wood has original finish and does show some mostly light usage marks. I would rate 95%. Original buttplate. This rifles stock was professionally accurized and nicely done including pillar bedding action. Barrel channel is bedded full length with barrel floated to 2" from action. Redfield bases with Leupold rings as shown. Shipping & Insurance to your FFL is $75.00 in lower 48. NO CA Sales.
