UP FOR IS A BEAUTIFUL COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY, SECOND GENERATION, MANUFACTURED IN 1964. THIS CLASSIC .357 MAGNUM MODEL FEATURES A 7 ½” BARREL AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH 97% OF ITS ORIGINAL FINISH INTACT. THE GRIPS ARE TWO-PIECE CHECKERED BLACK HARD RUBBER WITH THE ICONIC RAMPANT COLT LOGO. MARKINGS THROUGHOUT ARE CRISP AND LEGIBLE, INCLUDING COLT’S HARTFORD ADDRESS AND PATENT DATES ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE FRAME.
THE COLT SAA IS WIDELY REGARDED AS THE ICONIC “GUN THAT WON THE WEST,” AND THE SECOND GENERATION MODELS WERE BROUGHT BACK INTO PRODUCTION IN 1956 DUE TO RENEWED DEMAND FOR WESTERN FIREARMS, SPURRED BY THE POPULARITY OF WESTERN TELEVISION SHOWS.
