Description:
Sako L461 .222 Rem caliber Vixen bolt action rifle. The rifle features a 24-inch round blued barrel, checkered pistol grip, and Monte Carlo walnut stock. The barrel is marked "Sako Cal. .222." on the top. The receiver is marked "L461" on the left. Sako rifles are known for their crisp triggers, well-fitted parts, and honest minute-of-angle accuracy. The rifle is in excellent condition, showing only very minor signs of handling. The bore is bright and has strong rifling. It has a Leupold VX-Freedom 4-12x50 scope. The .222 Remington is a centerfire rifle cartridge introduced in 1950. The .222 Remington was a popular target cartridge and still enjoys a reputation for accuracy.
