Description:
This is a reproduction of the "gun that won the west" the Winchester Model 1873. This example is chambered in .44-40 Winchester with a 24" octagonal barrel and full length mag tube. The frame and trigger are case colored with a blued barrel and lever. The front sight is a blade that is dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is a semi-buckhorn U-notch elevator sight that is dovetailed and set screwed to the barrel. The stocks are smooth wood with a capped forearm, straight grip, straight comb, and a crescent blue steel buttplate. No box. .44-40 Winchester
