Here's some history. And a fine US Artillery.
US Colt Artillery way above average condition.
Most pieces of this are Custer battle numbers. Between 4400-6500.
Has the early cylinder before they started the approach notches. Early barrel, and ejector. Frame is Custer era. Grip's probably got beat up pretty bad during the battle of the Greasy grass. So it now has Henry Nettleton cartouched grips in fine condition.
I just watched a beat up Cavalry from Custer era bring over $20k at action. So to get one that has most parts that saw that same action. Other than grips.
Is about as close as it comes without selling a testicle
