Description:
This firearm is in overall great shape, has been shot but not very much. The walnut furniture features an oil finish, not its inferior cousin polyurethane, an option Beretta's reserves for its higher end firearms. The stock bolsters some sexy tiger striping. Custom work has been done to the stock to provide a reduced length of pull for short shooters. The Graco adjustable LoP plate (~12.5" all the way in, 14" all the way out) makes it ideal for a male who is on the shorter end of the spectrum, a female shooter or even a youth. This gun is perfect for a kid who is ready to shoot a 12ga but isn't quite done growing yet. This plate also gives some adjustability for positioning of the pad on shooter's shoulder. (For more info just go to Graco's site). It allows the recoil pad to move up or down, plus the toe can swing left/right to place the pad where it's most comfortable for you while aligning shooter's eye over the barrel at the preferred position. The recoil pad is the medium size KickEez, which come in multiple thicknesses. If the desired LoP needs to be a little less the slimmer pad can get it down closer to 12", whereas if more is needed the thicker pad they offer would bolt right on and get ya up to closer to 14.5". It's perfectly balanced on the hinge pin, when you place your hand squarely under the hinge pin it does not tip forward nor fall to the back end.
Stock is right hand so it has some cast to that side to bring the firearm in closer to the shooter's dominant eye, and has a slight palm swell on that side as well.
Features include automatic ejectors, barrel selector built into the safety, the wide 8mm rib, small fiber bead at the muzzle and mid bead halfway down.
Here are the only imperfections I've noticed: one small scratch on the bottom barrel near the forearm (shown in pic 15). A small crack at the top of the stock right near the safety (pic 13). 2 very small dings on the rib (pic 14). Other than those the gun is dang near perfect.
I do my best to be very detailed and list any imperfections. This is a used gun and while it's not in perfect condition the flaws are very minimal. With the condition of the firearm plus all the custom work it's very well worth the asking price. Try pricing out what Briley and other gunsmith's charge for this work and it'll blow your mind.
Hard case is included as well as the choke wrench, oil and 5 oem Optima flush chokes that came with it. Sk, Cyl, Imp Cyl, Mod and Imp Mod.
