Description:
This is a Fine model 1861 Springfield contract. It is dated 1863 and was made By the Trenton Locomotive Works. Trenton made 22,000 of these rifles for the U.S. Government during the Civil War. All metal is clean and bright. The nipple is a new replacement. The rest appears to be original. Use the photos to determine the condition for Yourself. I would rate it Fine +. I tried to show all of the minor defects in the pictures. All 3 barrel bands have the U stamp. Shipping is $45.00 to the lower 48. All other states Pay $60.00. Money back if not satisfied with the buyer paying the return shipping.
