FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The Rossi Model 68 was introduced in 1978 and is a compact (barrel just under 3?), 5 shot revolver chambered in .38 special.
It is a close copy of the popular Smith & Wesson Model 36 and was produced by Rossi under license using Smith & Wesson tooling and machinery in Brazil.
Rossi revolvers are generally considered very economical firearms that are still good quality and well made.
FIREARM CONDITION:
This gun is in very good, used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
The overall finish is very good with only some very light wear around the muzzle and a small line of wear across the front of the trigger guard.
There is also the odd, tiny, extremely light scratch in places, but nothing significant, and an extremely light drag line around the cylinder.
The cylinder lockup is still excellent.
