Synopsis: U.S. Springfield Armory 1922 M2, Military Trainer Rifle, 2516B, FB01106 Description: Relativly scarce and attractive Springfield Armory 1922 M2 Trainer Rifle, .22 LR, with an M1 barrel dated 10-31, matching electropenciled M2 bolt, correct Lyman 48 rear sight and replaced globe front sight with an orange apertured disc. Trigger with period shoe. Correct buttplate with trap door for cleaning implements. Commercial, military style, leather sling. Condition: VG as partially reworked, the stock having been sanded and the in-the-white butt plate filed to remove the checkering. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
