Synopsis: U.S. Springfield Armory 1898 Krag Carbine, Reworked, 190139, FB01114 Description: U.S. Springfield Armory 1898 Carbine, caliber 30-40 Krag, 22” barrel, extensively reworked, now with high polish salt blue, chromed bolt assembly, fully adjustable Redfield peep rear sight and Redfield marked front sight, fitted to sporterized stock with Whippet trademarked red recoil pad and military style sling. Condition: EXC as reworked, very little wear on the blued/chromed surface. Sporterized stock with minimal handling marks, aged hardening of recoil pad. Bright bore with light erosions, easily discernable rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
