Description:
REDUCED!
This is one of the most desirable Korth revolvers to come to market in the last 20 years - a Korth-Nighthawk Skyhawk revolver chambered in 9mm Para. The biggest challenge in designing a revolver in 9mm Para is the difficulty in devising an extraction system that would work without the use of moon clips, as the 9mm Para cartridge is a rimless cartridge that sits completely inside the chamber. Korth of Germany was up to task and came up with a proprietary system of small individual extractors that work in concert to extract all 6 chambers of the cylinder. Korth teamed up with Nighthawk industries to import these guns into the US in the 2017-2018. Only about 350 of these diminutive revolvers were imported and no more of these incredible revolvers would be imported in the future. Designed as an ultimate carry revolver, it has a 2 inch barrel and soft rounded lines to prevent snagging on the holster or clothes. The revolver is extremely light weight at 19.4 oz. The double action is like no other revolver action, thanks to the Korth proprietary trigger action and is apparently almost as crisp as the single action.
This gun is "as new in the box", only being test fired at the factory. It is an early model with the Korth Germany marking on the right side of the barrel. Only the first batch of about 20/30 guns had a marking like that with all the subsequent guns having the marking relocated to the inside of the frame, visible only when cylinder is swung open. The gun also comes with accessories only present with the first batch of the guns: a German info card showing an early production date of 2017, a "cylinder" key chain, a takedown tool and a speedloader. There is also a manual, a test target and one spent casing from the test firing of the gun. The gun has no wear and looks like it left the factory yesterday.  This is the most diminutive Korth-made revolver and is already a collector item with just a few hundred in existence in US.
