Description:
Police Positive in .32 Police Cartridge – very uncommon 2.5” barrel gun. This letters as shipped in December of 1919 to J.L. Galef in NYC. A decent honest snubby gun from before the time of the Detective and Banker Specials. Honest old gun with wear commensurate with carry use. Has bluing loss as seen. Some crazing, light pitting, and a few specs of rust. Was worn for some time, but doesn’t look abused. The photos tell the story. Bore is great, with good lands/grooves. This gun has the correct fleur-de-lis grips for the time period (1909-1925), and in the words of famed Snubby writer, Gary Peer, "finding a 2 1/2-inch Police Positive (or New Police for that matter) is quite an infrequent occurrence." An interesting short barrel gun from the time before the Detective Special. $800.00
No shipping to California, unfortunately. Rest of USA is fine. The gun will be packed extremely well and will be shipped via FedEx with insurance to your FFL dealer in the USA (no CA shipping) for $50. The actual shipping cost is likely higher, but I share in the cost in covering the balance to try to help keep the cost low for the buyer. This gun requires a C&R FFL or 01 FFL license for transfer. Payments accepted are cashier’s checks/USPS Money orders (ships business day after arriving), or personal checks (ships 5 business days after arriving). ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
