Fox Sterlingworth sxs 12 ga. Serial # 72369 The gun has 28 inch barrels. The chokes appear to be modified right and full left. The furniture is hard wood I believe to be oak. The stock has a checkered pistol grip and scroll work on the body. It has a high luster finish and there is only one small dent on the botton side about 3 iches from the butt plate. The barrels have a couple of dings on the right side of the right barrel and a couple on the bottom of the left.They do not appear on the inside of the barrels that are clear and clean. The butt plate has the same scroll as the stock. At first I thougt that the stock and forearm that is also scrolled to have been a later addition and not original but the serial number on the forearm matches the receiver. For the age of this gun, the furniture is beautiful. Add this gun to your collection, that is where it came from, for $825.00 and $50.00 shipping.
