Description:
Colt's Model of 1918 Machine Rifle, Browning Automatic Rifle 1919 dated barrel with WWI issue flashider. Barrel is marked "C" "1919" indicating it was for the first commercial BAR's Colt produced pre R-75 and R-80 Moniter. The bore is shiny with strong rifling from breech to muzzle. I would rate the bore an 8+ with some fouling that will easily be removed with a good scrubbing. Throat Erosion is 3. Muzzle Erosion is 2.5. Very rare item to find these days, Colt produced a small quantity of these early BAR's. A great item for your restoration project this winter.
