Here's a Rare Tool Room Prototype of the S&W No 3 Revolver Presented by S&W to Inovator and Designer Charles A. King. Gun is in the White with no markings . Bore is mint . Mechanics are Excellent. Came with no grips ! 44 caliber . We have a stack of paperwork notarized documenting this Tool Room Prototype Presented to C.A. King by the S&W co. Great Provinance ! Charles A. King worked with S&W for years and helped the design many of the features on there revolvers ! He helped design the features on this 2nd Model ! King also helped design and patent many other features for other gun company's like Parker Bros . And many more ! He was one of the Great Designers in the Firearms Bussiness !
