Description:
Ultra rare John Dickson & Son 12 bore roundaction, serial no. 3907, patent use 112 circa 1884. This rare gun has fluted serpentine fences, very fine engraving, crisp checkering and 28 inch sleeved nitro proof barrels. This gun was originally a non ejector and was converted into an ejector gun at a later date in the UK. An early Dickson roundaction that would compliment the vintager well and provide memorable shooting opportunities in the field. In over 30 years of collecting Dickson Roundactions, I have only seen 3 with this style of fence, 1 of which is pictured on P. 131 of the Donald Dallas Dickson Book.
