Description:
Post-war Springfield M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield. This M1 garand features a 24" barrel and a blade front sight with protective sides, adjustable DRC aperture rear sight, SA bolt "6528828 Y01", SA trigger group "6528290", Sa-"11" safety, SA "646008-7" hammer, and an SA op rod "6535362". The gas cylinder is a wide base with a flat edge gas lock and a PAX/T gas cylinder lock screw. The butt stock is a smooth hardwood pistol grip with the circle P stamp and DOD stamp on the let side. The forearm is smooth two-piece hardwood. The barrel is stamped "SA F6535448 12 55 A224B". The receiver is stamped "US RIFLE - CAL .30M1 - SPRINGFIELD ARMORY - 5952631. This M1 is in good used surplus condition with different stages of finish wear. .30-06 Springfield
