Description:
"SN: 1926.55 made in Ferlach, Austria. 3 barrel combination gun with a 12ga shotgun barrel over a 30-06 rifle barrel with an offset 22 long rifle barrel on the bottom right. Barrels are 24" long with Kersten lock extensions and a full length top rib with integral quarter rib and front ramp sight. The quarter rib has a 2 leaf folding rear sight and the front has a brass front bead. Also fit to the barrels is a soldered front sling swivel and German claw mount base however a scope is not included. Very fine scroll engraved scalloped box lock action with a Greener style safety, top tang barrel selector and a blued trigger guard bearing the initials “AW". 14" LOP to a curved trap door butt plate inlet for 3 30-06 and 2 .22lr cartridges. Rear sling swivel and engraved blued pistol grip cap with engraved screw. Bores are excellent, metal and furniture are in very good condition with minor wear and handling marks. At first glance this gun appears to be unmarked but in very small letters on the flats of the action is marked “J.KOSCHAT IN FERLACH". Overall a very well built traditional German combination gun.
