Description:
None finer. This is a quite rare caliber which was cataloged only during the final year (1963), representing less than 1% of all pre 64 Model 70 production.
Near pristine in all regards, with only a few faint handling marks on the wood. Based on the bolt face and other clues, it appears to be unfired beyond factory test.
S/N 560008 with matching bolt, assembled on a 1962 receiver as were about half or more of them.
99% original Blue and Varnish.
24" barrel with minty bore. Flawless mechanics.
Perfect factory ventilated recoil pad as issued on all of this caliber.
