Description:
"SN: 9961 made between 1912-1932 in Sweden. Single shot bolt action rifle chambered in 45-70 with a 26" oxtagon barrel with a brass bead front sight, dovetailed rear sight with 2nd flip up leaf and a sling swivel mounted to the bottom. Sporter style walnut stock has a 14 ¼" LOP to a steel butt plate with a rear sling swivel, flat top checkered grip and ADL style trigger guard. These rifles were based on the 1871 Mauser and also offered in 25-20, 32-20 and 30-30, the 45-70 variant was designated the M45 and marketed with the name “Älgstudsare" which translates to Moose Rifle. Bore is in excellent condition, metal is in near excellent condition for the age and the stock, while possibly re-finished at some point is in very good condition with only light handling marks.
