Description:
This is a U.S.F.A. "Double Eagle"...a modified version of the famous Colt Single Action Army. This revolver is chambered for the .45 Colt cartridge and has a .45 ACP cylinder factory fitted to the gun. This firearm has a 3-1/2" barrel with ejector rod, a swept back Bisley style hammer and a round butt birds head style grip frame. Grips are hard rubber. This gun was sent to Jim Finch, aka "Longhunter" for an action job (original invoice included.) The revolver itself is in absolutely meticulous condition and features a bright blue finish with color case hardened frame and hammer. Condition is excellent, not far from new, and it retains 98-99% of the original finish. The grips are perfect, free of any wear. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent...this revolver appears little more than test fired. It comes in the original box, owner's manual, miscellaneous paperwork (including the original invoice for the action job), and the USFA gun sock.
