This Springfield Model U.S. 1884 is a single shot trapdoor action rifle in .45-70 Gov't. Cal. It has a 32 inch barrel. A blade front sight and a Buffington adjustable rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip walnut straight grip. The forearm is a smooth grip walnut. Serial Number 518366 (1891). .45-70 Government
