Description:
This is a Weyersberg Kirschbaum &Co. Solingen Danish M1867 Bayonet with Scabbard. Stamped Crown on pommel, Regiment 13B.221 61127 on quillon, Weyersberg Kirschbaum &Co. Solingen on ricasso, Crown 29B. 360 on knob of scabbard. The 21 3/4", unsharpened blade is in excellent condition, bright with a nice tip. The guard and pommel have dulled to a gray/brown with both scales in very good condition. This bayonet was made for the Remington Danish Rolling Block rifle. The first model bayonet has a flat spring actuated locking lug and is much rarer.
