Description:
EARLY MODEL 25 PUMP ACTION .25-20 OCTAGON RIFLE, #9XXX. These were only made from 1923-1935 when the Great Depression forced production to cease. They were only made in .25-20 and .32-20. This fairly low serial number example shows fine deep receiver blue with only light edge wear. The barrel blue shows some flaking/mixing brown with even thinning blue. The magazine tube shows good thinning blue. All sharp markings, buckhorn rear sight with elevator bar intact and small blade/bead front sight. Tight takedown, fine+ stock and forend show light handling with one hard to see crack coming back from the left side of the receiver just above the safety button- minor. Correct Remington/UMC marked steel crescent butt plate, tight action and exc. bore.
