Condition: Action feeds smoothly and has stong ejection, very few minor handling marks on the furniture (two scuffs through finish on right of forearm), have not found flaws on bluing, bore is bright and shiny.

- Designed by John Moses Browning, the Auto-5 was the first successful semi-automatic shotgun, and the Magnum 20 variant was a later development, catering to the demand for a lighter, more powerful shotgun.
- The Browning Magnum 20 was produced in limited quantities compared to other models. It was manufactured primarily between the 1960s and 1970s. The relatively short production window, combined with its performance features, makes it rarer than other Browning shotguns.
- The 20-gauge version of the Auto-5, especially the Magnum model, was designed to handle heavier loads, making it a versatile gun for hunting waterfowl and other larger game. The combination of lightweight handling and the ability to fire magnum shells made it very popular among hunters.
- The long recoil action of the Auto-5, paired with the higher capacity of magnum shells, contributed to the gun's reliability and effectiveness in the field.
