Manufactured at the Fazakerley Royal Ordnance Factory in Liverpool, England 1947. These were the last ones made before shutdown after WWII. This factory was remowned for it's quality. It also made the STEN Machine Gun. Rifle is in outstanding condition including bore which is bright & shiny with very good grooves. Looks like it may have bee fired very little if at all. May have never been ussued. Numbeers matching including receiver, bolt and stock. Has the correct BNP and Crown Markings on barrel and receiver. Broad arrow acceptnance stamped on pistol grip fastner on left side. comes with correct sling stamped J&AH 1944 and action cover, stamped S - 1942. 2 loading clips, correct Bayonet and Scabbard are also included.
