1873 Winchester 44-40 Rifle made 1885. 24" barrel. Perfect, tight solid action, like new. Original sights. Perfect tight solid dust cover. Bright bore with clear distinct rifling, showing just some black powder spotting. Excellent clear markings. Smooth, clean metal with no pitting. Gun surface metal was lightly cleaned, and is now aging. The metal color is more of an even aging color than the pictures show. Solid tight wood, never sanded, and full to the metal.
