Colt 1911 Gold Cup Series 80 .45ACP, features improved sights. Gold Cup sights are known to fly off with use. Foresight is soldered in (not staked) plus a Bomar rear added. Also beavertail and commander hammer. Nice pistol showing a bit of holster wear on front edge of slide. Super shooter! Original box included. Pistol was owned by Ray Chapman who started the Bianchi Cup competition. It was new in box unfired when Mr. Chapman presented it to the owner. A copy of the DVD filmed for Mr. Chapman will be included with the pistol. No sales to California or Hawaii.
