This is a Savage 99 model E lever action rifle chambered in 22 Savage Hi-Power. It features a 20” barrel, 5 internal rotary magazine with round counter, and this rifle is a takedown. This rifle was built in 1925 and has had the stock shortened and a recoil pad has been added, it has also been drilled and tapped and has a scope mounts. However overall this is a very clean example with nice brown patina through the metal finish with some handling wear on the sharp edges, likewise the wood appear to be the original finish and is very clean. The action feels very smooth and the bore is bright and clean.
