Description:
Bridgeport Gun & Implement Co. was a manufacturer of Bowie knives and other cutlery. It is 13 ½” overall clip point Bowie knife with a 9” blade and Stagg horn grips. The ricasso is marked Bridgeport G.I. Co. No. 501. The blade has not been sharpened. The loop on the scabbard is marked B.G.I. Co. No. 501. The scabbard loop top is worn but all of the stitching is intact. The blade is clean without any rust or pits.
