Description:
Serial #83610, .22 LR, 6 5/8" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1931-made pistol with high speed mainspring housing, and retains 75-80% of the original blue finish, with gray fading along the sides of the barrel, silvering along the edges of the frame and slide, and mild surface freckling present throughout the balance of the metal. The checkered walnut grips are in very good shape, with light-moderate wear and flattening to the points, especially at the butt on both sides. The pistol is mechanically excellent, and comes with a single two-tone magazine. The pistol is housed in a brown leather flap holster that has a previous owner’s name stamped into the cover; "L.C. RAMSEY." The leather is worn, but still supple and intact, and both a second belt loop and thong tie-down were added to the holster at some point during the service life. This is a nice 1st Series Woodsman, in very good condition, and would make a nice addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
