Very Rare and the Holy Grail for Marlin Collectors. Made only in 2 yrs...1963 and 64. This one is a lst yr with Date Code W is likley the best of the handful of these we have had over the last decade. Almost completely free of use or handlng marks with minor imperfections in the finish ....we are calling this 94% but likely better.
The Marlin Bullsey their signature often missing as the wood shrinks at a different rate than the plastic ...appears to have been replaced with an after market one but this is insignificant and on the under side of the tang not so visible is the inscripton MR...
It would be hard to find a nicer one, no non factory holes, no finish added no sling swivels added...Just a nearly perfect Marauder.
A terrific little gun to hunt with, factory drilled and tapped for scope (we have a perfect scope for this if you plan to hunt with it rather than just put it on display or in a safe..for not too much $ (inquire)
