Absolutely incredible Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade 375 H&H Magnum. The best I've had from this era.
S/N 193487 with matching bolt made 1951.
100% original Blue, 99% Varnish with a bit of nice tiger stripe grain.
This gun does not appear to have been fired beyond factory proof. Looks and feels new in all regards with a couple of miniscule marks on wood and some yellowing of lacquer on bakelite forend tip. (not uncommon).
25" barrel with mint bore. Flawless mechanics. Near perfect and soft factory recoil pad as issued on all of this caliber.
All correct SG components.
The .375 H&H is unsurpassed in overall performance on large game and remains the clear choice of most Alaskan bear guides (myself included) and African game cullers.
This rifle would be virtually impossible to upgrade.
