Description:
Serial #3203, .410 Gauge, (2 ¾" & 3" shells), 28 inch barrel with an excellent bore choked modified. This is the Winchester Model 42 pump action shotgun manufactured in 1933 & first year of production. The lightweight little pump remains in very fine condition with perhaps 65-70% of the original blue that has silvered on the edges with areas of mild freckling and a mottled appearance in spots. The walnut stock and forearm are solid with numerous old use marks and contusions with the original hard rubber Winchester butt plate. The action remains smooth. A very nice, honest first year Model 42 that would be fun to take out this fall! FFL or C&R
