Description:
1874 Shiloh Sharps Sporter #3 in 45-70. This rifle is in excellent condition, has a 28 inch standard weight barrel, traditional pewter tip, traditional steel shotgun buttplate, and full buchorn sight. It comes with Montana Vintage Arms 131 Vernier tang sight, adjustable for windage as well as elevation. Also included is the Crossno .22 liner that allows you to shoot .22 long rifle ammunition from the rifle. The rifle will ship in the original Doskocil case that it was received in from the factory. The overll condition of the rifle is near perfect, the stock is unblemished, the bore is mirror, and the bluing is like new. The only blemish on the whole rifle is that a touch of the case color was rubbed off at the rear of the action by the cleaning rod the very first time I cleaned it. After that initial mishap, I alway covered that area with a cleaning patch! This spot can be seen in the closeup photo of that area.
Shipping will be the actual cost plus insurance. Payment can be made by bank check, postal money order, or personal check. Personal check will need to clear prior to shipment. I am a private seller, so please be sure your FFL will accept shipment from me. If not, then there will be the additional charge to cover what my local FFL will charge me to send the rifle.
