Description:
This example is a Browning BLR Lightning, it's a lever-action rifle manufactured for Browning Arms Company by Miroku Firearms in Japan. The left side of the barrel is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN" with an "NP" mark at the chamber. The right side of the barrel is marked "LIGHTNING BLR CALIBER .270 WIN ONLY". The top of the rounded receiver is serrated and taped for scope mounts. The front sight is a brass-beaded blade dovetailed into a ramped base that is screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a U-notch leaf screwed to the barrel. The stock is two-piece high gloss wood with checkered rounded knob grip and forend, straight comb, and rubber buttpad marked, "BROWNING". Comes with one factory magazine.Overall this gun appears in excellent unused condition. .270 Winchester
