It has never seen a gunstock or barrel!
The Receiver was bought new in the early 90's and always stored fully greased in a climate controlled environment.
These Receivers are no longer available from Springfield!
Please see a picture of the only currently available Rear Lug Receiver I was able to find for comparisons.
Springfield used these Rear Lug Receivers in their top of line M25's, Super Match and National Match rifles that are no longer in production!
They were without a doubt the most accurate rifle's to come from Springfield!
