This is a Browning B-78 manufactured in 1973. The serial number is 5554W37. The "W" means it is a B-78 and the 37 means the rifle was manufactured in 1973., the first year of production. The rifle is in 270 Winchester caliber and is topped off with a Leupold 2-7x40scope. This rifle has absolutely amazing wood. The first generation B-78s had really exceptionally colored stocks and forearms. The wood on this rifle is gorgeous. This is a 50+ year rifle and is as brand new. Its truly an amazing mint rifle.
