Description:
1873 Winchester Rifle in 32-20. Manufactured in 1914 and shipped to Rockford Illinois (see sheet from Cody Museum). 24" octagon barrel and full magazine retain 45 to 50% of their original blue with the remainder a gray / brown patina. Receiver is a nice gray / brown patina. Action functions smoothly. The bore a will rate a 5.5 maybe a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10. Original front and rear sights. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition. Buttstock toe area has had slight modification. Nice and crisp markings. Original dust cover still present. All in all a nice little 1873 Winchester that has some history attached. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. Please feel free to ask questions. I will consider trades.
