Another Restored; Refinished; Masterfully Engraved and Gold Inlaid (Technically, Used – Unturned, Unfired after Restoration) Circa 1980; SN 080XX NF; Colt New Frontier Single Action Revolver in .44 Special Caliber; 7½ Inch Barrel; with what appear to be Pearl (Mother of Pearl) Grips; we did not remove them to inspect the bottom sides. This Generation-3 Colt Flat-Top; Adjustable Sight; Single Action New Frontier was exquisitely engraved and embellished with complete – but not overdone – Gold Inlay and Scroll Engraving coverage in 1998 by Clinton Finley, the renowned Colt Specialist Engraver (://clintonfinley/). A Lone Howlin’ Wolf is Inlaid in Bas-Relief on the Left Cylinder/Recoil Shield -- matched by his Gold Inlay Paw Print on the Right. Graceful Single & Double Gold Wedding Bands adorn the Muzzle, Barrel (ahead of the Frame), and Ejector Rod Housing; and Single Line Gold Inlays Outline the Frame. Even the Front Sight and Hammer are Embellished, with each Cylinder Flute ending in a 3-Leaf Gold Inlaid (Cactus?) Flower Design. The Visible Screw Heads are Gold Plated and Engraved. Allowing for restoration and refinishing, the gun appears in 100% Restored Condition. The hammer has not been pulled back (nor the cylinder turned) since its acquisition by the founder of this Trust/Estate.
