Description:
For your consideration, a Winchester M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield. Dubbed by General Patton as "the greatest battle implement ever devised," the M1 Garand faithfully saw the US through the Second World War and Korea and served many other forces abroad beyond. The Winchester receiver dates to March of 1944. Stock markings consist of a boxed [P] proof on the underside of the pistol grip. The bolt, hammer, and 1965 dated barrel are all Springfield-made while the trigger pack is H&R. .30-06 Springfield
