Description: Serial #167660, .32 S&W, 3 1/2" ribbed round barrel with a very good bore showing patches of light pitting and light oxidation with otherwise strong rifling. This is the Second Model 32 Safety Hammerless "Lemon Squeezer" revolver manufactured from 1902-09. The metal surfaces of this Second Model revolver retain about 93-95% original nickel finish showing areas of light cloudiness, light flaking and bubbling, and a few spots of pinprick pitting and wear toning to brown. The trigger guard and barrel latch retain a similar amount of original blue with some fine speckles of light oxidation and a touch of light wear to gray. The trigger retains most of its original smoky case-hardened finish with some speckles of light oxidation on the face. All the numbered parts are serialized to the frame and the right grip panel is stamp-numbered to the gun. The checkered hard rubber grips rate about very good plus to near excellent with some minor handling marks and spots of softened checkering. Barrel-to-frame fit, timing, and lock-up are all excellent and the action appears to function well mechanically. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
