"Serial number 69114. Made in 1905. 7.63 Mauser caliber with a 13 ½" barrel. This gun is in excellent condition as reworked into a carbine. This gun was a military WWI era gun that was converted into a carbine post war for commercial sales. . This exact gun is pictured on page 209 of the book THE BROOMHANDLE PISTOL 1896-1936 by Wayne R. Erickson and Charles E Pate. This gun at the time was in the Joe Richards collection. Very neat “rework" carbine pictured in book!
