SOLD This Rare Winchester was produced in 1958. The rifle's serial number is 288405. The barrel is the standard 24 inch barrel chambered to shoot the 22 Short, Long and Long Rifle cartridge. This Special order rifle is new in it's original box. There is no sign of ever being assembled. This gun has stunning figured wood! Even the pump handle has this fancy wood! The receiver has the very high polish finish. The stock has the special order pistol grip with the Winchester black cap. This stock and pump handle has all of the features of the deluxe grade rifle but without the fancy checkering. This rifle is a special order rifle as most of these special Winchesters were deluxe models. You would have had to request a semi deluxe with out checkering. This makes these Semi Deluxe model 61's far rarer than the Deluxe model 61's. The box is in near excellent condition. The box label is serial numbered to this gun. The label also has the stamp -Special, - Semi Deluxe and Select Wood on this label. The hanging tag also is stamped -Special. . The box also has the other papers and instruction booklet included.
