For sale is a James Kirk of Glasgow, Scotland , 12 guage, Boxlock, extractor side by side shotgun.
KIrk name may not be one that snaps immnediatly to mind, but this maker was responsible for making
fine shotguns. This particular double is a 12 bore, non ejector (extractor) in very nice condition. Serial
number 1235 made in the early 1900's. Barrelsare in great mirror shape and the rib was replaced sothe
barrels are tighly joined. Double triggers which have a crisp pull as expected. Mirror bores. Rose and
Scroll engraving on locks with makers name. 2 1/2 inch chambers, Nitro Proofed. 28"sleeved barrels retain
nice bluing with a 1/2 inch fading on bottomside. Ivory front bead. The furniture and rest of the Kirk is in very good
condition. A very nice Scottish double at a great price. I have been selling my collection in the past year and this is one
of the few I have left at this time. The double is a C&R FFL item and can be ship direct to your C&R FFL license or gunshop.
THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES or IMPERFECTIONS ON THE STOCKS. CHOKES ARE LEFT-MOD, ON RIGHT CYLINDER.
The Kirk has been field tested to make sure the gun functions correctly for the new buyer.
