Remington 28g Model 1100 Sporting Semi-Automatic Shotgun.
The model 1100 Sporting series 28g shotgun is Remington’s classic Model 1100 for the small bore sporting clays shooter. Semi-auto action has no engraving and is just marked “Sporting 28” on right side of the receiver with a deep blue finish on all exposed metal, and a gold-plated trigger. The magazine holds 2 rounds.
Has a semi-fancy high gloss and enhanced cut checkered Deluxe Walnut stock and forearm. Full pistol grip has a solid black grip cap with the Rem. Arms. Logo and a 13 ¾" LOP over a factory Pachmayr “Decelerator” recoil pad.
This gun features a 24 ½" barrel with a 2 ¾” chamber, a vent rib and twin bead sights and equipped with one interchangeable Briley extended choke tube in “Light Modified.
The gun weighs 7 lbs. 4 oz.
The gun has been shot and shows handling marks on the stock, but they are not that noticeable in the glossy finish. The forearm’s condition is consistent with the butt stock. A few small scratches in the metal of the receiver and one out on the barrel. The marks are not noticeable, until one starts to look for them. The gun may be used, but it has been taken care of and still feeds flawlessly and the bore is perfect.
A desirable small bore Model 1100 28g at a very reasonable price.
