"Serial No. 5791442, circa 1944, .30 carbine, 18" round barrel marked “W". Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted, milled front sight is unmarked. Trigger group and bolt are marked “W", push button safety is marked “EW" and ""M"" marked Winchester magazine catch is noted. Stock is a later Low Wood pot belly with a four-rivet top that is unmarked. Light handling marks are noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
